We had a great week in the BB house, with a bunch of gameplay, waffling, a double eviction.
And our first big boot!
1. Caleb
HOH: 80/100

Alliances: Bomb Squad Loyalist
Awards: Most improved player
Don't look now, but Caleb actually had a really good week of Big Brother. He was left out of most of the early strategy conversations, but "at the end of the day" he was the one who spoke sense about keeping Zach for their numbers which is why Zach stayed this week. He also pulled off the first "big move" of the season in my opinion by getting Hayden out. Hayden is the first good player of the season to be evicted, and Caleb should get credit for that. And without Amber in the house to distract Caleb, he is a somewhat less entertaining but also a much better player. People TRUST Caleb, and that is going to help Caleb get far in this game. Derrick might even be grooming Caleb to be his final two goat, which means that if Caleb can win that final HOH and CUT Derrick, that Caleb COULD win the game. I don't like all guy alliances, but the truth is they are effective, so it isn't worth faulting Caleb for that.
2. Christine
POV: 25/50
Strategy: 50

Alliances: Detonators

Christine did a good job of throwing Zach under the bus to Derrick and Cody, to break down THAT relationship, but she also lost her relationship to Hayden and Nicole, and Derrick and Cody don't actually trust HER. She is in trouble, and it seems like she's finally realizing she's the only girl in an all guy's alliance. Which is NOT a good thing!
3. Cody
Strategy: 40
Social: 30
Show: 20
Alliances: The Detonators, Hitmen, Rationale

RIP Rationale. Cody is playing a decent game to get far, but I did not think him and Derrick made the right move this week. Zach vs. Jocasta? Take out the guy who actually PLAYS the game, and leave Jocasta to take out in the final five or something. Cody also clearly wanted to play with Hayden and Nicole, and Derrick wouldn't let him. And then when they were on the block against each other he didn't know who to vote for. Cody isn't much more than another one of Derrick's pawns at this point, but he still has enough info that he could be more if he would step up.
4. Derrick
Strategy: 40
Social: 90
Show: 60
Alliances: See Cody, Plus Team America, and Derrick and Victoria
Awards: Current favorite.
I thought the better move was to evict Zach, since he's got more Hayden/Nicole/Donny blood on their hands as a result, but taking Hayden out leaves Derrick as almost undisputed king of the house. He's got a tough week or two ahead of him and the Revived Hamster will probably come after him, but he's set up to win this thing if he can keep up the good work.
5. Hayden
Strategy: 70
Social: 60
Show: 60
Alliances: RIP Rationale
Awards: N/A
It is weird to give Hayden so much credit on the week he was evicted, but he is the first GOOD player to be evicted, and I don't think he really did anything to GET HIMSELF evicted. He just got outplayed by Derrick, and there's no real shame in that.
6. Jocasta
Strategy: 0

Show: 60
Alliances: Jesus

Poor Jocasta. Jesus didn't save her.
7. Donny
Dethroned HOH: 10/50

Donny knows what's going on, but he just doesn't have the pull to get anything done. But mad props to him for winning that veto during the Double Eviction.

Frankie didn't really know what was going on this week until near the end. He very nearly got backdoored. The Hitmen brought his game back to life, but they may need to sacrifice him soon.
9. Zach
Strategy: 0
Social: 0
Show: 80
Alliances: N/A

Zach stayed, but he did NOTHING to accomplish that. Don't fool yourselves people, Zach is not playing a good game, he is seen as another Victoria for Derrick to manipulate.
10. Nicole
HOH: 20/100
Strategy: 40

Alliances: RIP Rationale
Awards: NA
The BOTB killed Nicole's HOH, since it made her feel obligated to put up Jocasta. She didn't deserve how bad this week turned out for her.

If the pawn advances to the other side of the board she can become a queen. #TeamVictoria. #QueenVictoria.
In all seriousness Victoria should have 50 grand coming to her at the end of the summer when she's the goat taken to final two.
I stick by that.
