Week 2 is in the books, and while it was mostly boring, there were some emerging characters and some interesting gameplay to discuss going on in the background.
1. Jessica

Jessica continues to flounder in this game, but she's entertaining doing so at least. I think if she manages to stay a while, she could turn into a strong player in this game once again. However, the road she has to hoe is so incredibly difficult, that I just don't see her pulling it off. Her instincts are too built on snapping first, and then trying to do damage control later. It just won't fly for too much longer.

I really enjoy Kevin. I am actively rooting for Kevin to win. But I just don't know if he has the long term strategic sense to pull it out. His lying about votes is fun, but I don't know if it'll ultimately serve him very well in this game, and his loyalty to Paul could prove disasterous.

Cody was entertaining in how he was a total robot that could not be controlled by production. He just wasn't having any of it.

The Paul sycophancy is really annoying, but Elena is set up pretty well. If she can open her eyes to Paul, she could turn into a Dark Horse in this game.

Jason broke Xmas' foot, but other than that he's actually a kind of likeable underdog. I don't think he's got the actual social ability to flip this game around, but I like that he's going to try.

Awards: WTF moment
Christmas should have been eliminated from the game when she couldn't show up on Thursday. Thursday is the most important day in the BB week, and she wasn't there for it. That's insane to me. But Christmas remains a player in this game. I hope she goes soon, although I don't know why anyone would evict her.

Dominique's terrible talkshow actually got interesting this week, when Cody used the opportunity to blow up Mark and Dominique's games. Mark mostly recovered, but Dominique is in hot water, and the hilarious thing to me was that she was more interested in how her talkshow went. Dominique is condescending as hell, and has no real sense of strategy. Won't be sorry to see her go.

Everybody Hates Ramses really amuses me. I liked what he did this week mostly. He's got a tough road ahead of him, but I still see him taking the super fan route, and becoming a threat to win towards the end of the game. It'll be interesting to see.

Mark remains an interesting player, but more and more I think he's just going to get wiped out when Paul starts really cutting into people. I'm actually curious to see if Mark can do damage to Paul before the end.

Raven is lowkey trying to poison all her fellow hgs with her cooking. She plays the sympathy card a lot, and people talk about wanting her to win, which is going to make her eviction all the sweeter.

Alex is annoying. She's catty, cocky, but she's not clueless. At least not completely. She's signed on to help Paul win, but she could end up getting 2nd place riding alongside him. I don't like volunteering for the block, but its a move that really endeared her to Paul, and for her game that might be just the thing. Alex will be a frustrating dissapointment if you want anyone other than Paul to win BB19, but her gameplay could take her far this season.

With a stronger cast, Paul's gameplay would have rubbed them the wrong way and made him a target. But Paul can do no wrong this season. I think its time we all got on board just accepting that Paul will win. So go Paul.....I guess....
