Five Drinks Into Reality TV: Big Brother Canada Game and Show Weeks 9 and 10

Tom's Take:

Neda has assumed the throne and is in the driver's seat for the rest of the season. The only real questions remaining is whether Jon and Neda will make it to the end together, or whether Neda will cut Jon. But first let's discuss how Neda completely destroyed the last hope of the Gremlins, and then how Adel failed to split up the power duo with the last chance anyone will ever get to do so.

1. Adel

Alliances: Uh...

Adel had the basket in his hands and he failed to take the shot. He could have taken down the Jon and Neda power couple and instead he allowed them another week, and pissed away jury votes by not only going after the Gremlins, but also insulting them along the way. His strategy is apparently to make himself a jury goat, which is an argument to make I guess, but a stronger one would be the guy who split up Jon and Neda.

2. Heather

Alliances: Heads and Neds,

Neda usurped Heather's spot to win the game, and Heather voting Allison out doesn't make sense for her to me, and she is sort of back to just coasting right now, which is fine, but that's not really good for building a case to win this game.

3. Neda

Awards: My personal Favorite, My Pick to Win,
Alliances: JONEDA, Heads and Neds,

This week was Neda's coming out party as seizing control of this game. She wins two big competitions, gets time by herself in the war room, makes the brilliant decision of cutting Allison leaving a united house to fight the Gremlins, and of course getting a strategy session with Jemmett to get a chance to show viewers how much control she has over the game. I don't know if she has strong enough relationships to guarantee that she'll win in the end, but she's in by far the best position to get there.

4. Jon

Social: 90
Show: 70

Alliances: JONEDA,

Jon is a very good social player, and I give him full credit for keeping Adel in line in going after the Gremlins over him and Neda. When it comes to strategic decisions, he sort of just allows Neda to make the calls and trusts her. The result is that I personally don't see him as a better player than Neda, but if he's there in the end with her, the jury might give him the win.

5. Rachelle

The show tried to make her more interesting, and it didn't work.

6. Sabrina

Show: 80

Alliances: Gremlins

Sabrina is on her own now, fighting against a seemingly united house. Could she survive to the end? Perhaps, but I think she's slotted for a third place finish.

7. Allison "New Girl"

Awards: Dumb Move for becoming the Swing Vote and then Not Swinging
Alliances: Gremlin

After stupidly voting out Arlie, Allison was next to join him in the jury house. Game Karma.
