Audrey's gone, but the game isn't over. And in fact we've got some house splitting going on! It'll be interesting to see if this house really does split over the drama between Upstairs and Downstairs.

The end of the Audrey saga is here. She was a lot of fun, but it was hard to root for her at the end. I'm hoping that the end of her game won't be the end of excitement on this season. Instead, I'm hoping that the drama ramps up in terms of the strategic game.

Week 2 is in the books. We had our second #Takover and it wasn't too bad. I don't think it really changed much, but it gave Da a chance.

Also God bless #BB17 for giving us Audrey. She is glorious casting, and I am glad she made it until at least Week 3.

Shelli was HOH this week, and as a result we got a LOT of Clay and Shelli in that HOH room.

om's Take

We've got a phenomenal start to this game, with tons of early drama, and a great cast playing the game very very hard. I'm loving it.

This week we got 2 new cast mates, screwing up my initial predictions. We also got the return of "fan favorite" battle of the block, but I'll deal with all of that, because I am loving this cast. I think we've got a GREAT mix of gamers and crazies.

So we were introduced to 14 HG's and the idea that this season we would have twist after twist. That sounds frankly terrible, but I am trying to look past that impeding explosion of awfulness, and instead focus on the good.


And the good is this Big Brother 17 cast.

I like this cast quite a bit. Are there some forgettable morons among them? Of course, but that's part of the fun. Frankly after the utter dominance of Derrick last year, I am most wanting to see a few average to good level players really clash and fight. And I think we got that, so let's get to them.

Congratulations to Sarah for winning Big Brother Canada 3, and Mike for winning Survivor 30.
I'm sorry that I stopped with the updates, I got very tired of Survivor and when I got into Big Brother Canada 3, it felt too late for me do game and showplay rankings.

Five Drinks Into Survivor Season 30 "Worlds Apart" Episode 8 "Keep it Real"

Tom's Take:

I hated this episode. It was uninteresting, the Mike Winner edit is too much, and its annoying, and Dan is an ass.

Five Drinks Into Reality TV: Survivor Season 30 "World's Apart" Episode 7 "A Line Will Be Drawn Tonight"

Tom's Take:

A really great merge episode that saw three or possibly even four distinct groups plotting and strategizing. A lot of people shifted around in this episode, and we were left with Kelly, arguably the most boring character left in the game getting the boot. The result is that the rest of the season should be very exciting, as everybody left is a character.

This episode had a lot of fireworks and fun camp drama, but from a strategic standpoint, it was kind of a dud.

The second episode of Survivor 30 was interesting. I don't think there was any real good gameplay, but there was some interesting strategy happening, and a fun challenge.

And we've got another season opener in the books, and I think this season looks like it could be very good. I was never as down on San Juan Del Sur as everyone else is, but this season looks like it is working to correct the mistakes casting made from last season, when they cast a number of people with no idea how to play the game. This season, everyone has an idea how to play, and it should be fun to see them clash.

So the first two episodes of Better Call Saul got us off to a really good start, so much so, that I want to talk about it.

This season just went from being a good season to a great season! I know people are hating on this season, but seriously when was the last time there were this many real power shifts in the game?

These two episodes were pretty meh, but they really set up a finale where I think anything can happen.

These two episodes in the merge were awesome! All season long, Jeremy and Josh were set up as the two power players of the season, and over these last two episodes this pair clashed in a furious battle that in all likelihood decided the winner. Now let's delve into why Jeremy came out on top!

And we've got our last pre-merge episode out of the way. And we've got an interesting merge coming, so let's break down where we're at coming into it.

We've got a tribe swap episode, which gave us a very interesting dynamic for these couple of pre-merge episodes. Some people benefited greatly from the swap, while others were put into a much weaker position.

We finally got a change up this week with the Hunahpu finally going to tribal council. We got a GREAT one episode arc with Drew's downfall,

The entire John Rocker saga played out this week and it was...honestly kind of ho hum. I didn't love anything really about this episode, and I'm starting to worry that the editors are really giving the winner away, which if true means this season is going to be real boring. Here's hoping I'm wrong about that.

Week Two ends with some gameplay going terribly, and the unlocking of the John Rocker character on the season. Spoiler alert, I give his arc two or three episodes at most. It has been hinted at too strongly that he does NOT make the merge, for him to actually make it.

Welcome back to Survivor! We've got another season underway, and I'm very very excited. These newbies are interesting for the most part, and I think we're going to have several future allstars on our hands, and an interesting season in the short term. I'm also very interested to see Blood v. Water play out without having returning players to twist it around.

The only weakness to this season, is that I think it is built to have way too much crying, which will get boring after a while. But until it does, let us get into the new cast!

Five Drinks Into Big Brother 16: Winner!

Tom's Take:

Congratulations to the winner of Big Brother 16.

Derrick played a flawless game, and I have compared it to a no hitter, since he was never nominated all season. He was just two jury votes and an HOH win from a perfect game in my opinion, which is closer than anyone has ever gotten. His gameplay this season is the top of any player's ever played. Even better than Dr. Will or Dan's games. This puts Derrick at #3 in my overall Big Brother Player Power Rankings, as Dan and Dr. Will are set aside due to their body of work.

I'm going to just combine the last three weeks of boredom into one big post, because maybe that'll be exciting?

Cody was HOH so it was another snore week. No one's position has really changed, so I'm not really going to both making new summaries.

And we've got our buyback! Nicole is back in the house, and while this will affect pretty much nothing in the house other than making this rather boring season go longer, it is our top story on the night.

Oh and Twitter's favorite, Zach Attack is gone. He will be missed for his antics, although he was not a particularly good player. I wish Twitter would accept the game as it is, but since I'm barely even paying attention to the show any more, I guess I can't really blame them.

For some ungodly reason the Big Brother producers decided to keep the 2 HOH twist going. The result is that instead of there being a big power flip this week and exciting gameplay, we got the sad story of Christine being pathetic and backstabbing her friend. Big Brother has ruined my view of women as strong and confident and instead made me into a firm DISbeliever in the possibility of feminism ever working. Girls...you can't keep letting these guys roll all over you. Anyways, we lost Nicole this week and the status quo remained the status quo. Snore.

We had a great week in the BB house, with a bunch of gameplay, waffling, a double eviction.

The Bomb Squad is done, and the Detonators is pathetic. Team America is broken. With alliances falling left and right, there's room for a serious power house to take control.

Another boring week as the status quo remained unchanged. I hate the 2 HOH twist, as it limits gameplay, and I'm ready for the house alliance to split apart. Come on people, make a move!

And we've got our first week of gameplay, and I am LOVING this cast. We've got several decent gamers as well as many simply awful players.

I am not a fan of the two HOH twist, as I think it obstructs players from making moves or being able to reasonably plan ahead which makes gametalk frustrating and often pointless, and so far Team America has been a flop, but again, none of that deters from this season for me, because I LOVE this cast.

I would like to apologize for how late this is in coming. I got really bogged down there for a while, and didn't get a chance to review the last few episodes of Survivor. So since the finale is long gone and we all know who won already, I think I'll just dedicate this post to dissecting this great season of Survivor as a whole.

First of congratulations to Team TV for winning the season. You earned it, although I was rooting for Woo to make the right decision there at the end, Tony was a great winner.

I am emotionally devastated by that finale since Neda came so close to winning, only to be cut off from the end in such a brutal way. But moving past that, I have to respect Jon for making that move because it won him the game. Jon was a great player this season, I ranked him as the second best going into these last few weeks, and he took out the actual best player, so he fully deserved his win.

Congratulation Jon Pardy.

Big Brother Canada Finale Review Postponed

The BBCAN Finale Was too heartbreaking for me to review right away. I'll go over the final 5 at a later date, maybe in the weeks leading up to Big Brother 16.

Neda has assumed the throne and is in the driver's seat for the rest of the season. The only real questions remaining is whether Jon and Neda will make it to the end together, or whether Neda will cut Jon. But first let's discuss how Neda completely destroyed the last hope of the Gremlins, and then how Adel failed to split up the power duo with the last chance anyone will ever get to do so.

A pretty boring episode with a predictable boot as the new alliance stuck together to just take out Morgan, but there was a mad scramble for the HII.

Five Drinks Into Reality TV: Big Brother Canada Game and Show Week 8

Tom's Take:

A great week of gameplay. Jon wins HOH and despite it probably being better just to play it safe and split up the Gremlins, he makes a move on Arlie only to have it countered by Allison's secret veto, but then he and Neda managed to counter that by getting the Gremlins to believe they were fine and to remove Arlie for them. It was a great week of the game.

Tom's Take:

Two weeks worth of gameplay all in one, and the two sides of the house clashed, and one side the Sloppy Seconds came out on top, pretty much crushing the strongest members of the First Five, and leaving only two small gremlins left in the wake of the devastation.

The House divided this week and it is very fun to see how it will all play out. For now it seems like everyone is either on Team Jon or Team Kenny heading into an HOH that is perfect for drawing alliance lines out.
